A cup of coffee is beautiful in its simplicity
however the process from seed to cup is far from simple. All our coffees are hand crafted from seed to cup, focusing on direct firm relationship and small batch roasting to discover art from every cup… something like art from the cup…
We are passionate about discovering the world’s finest and most exciting coffees each season, blending them to perfection and delivering fresh to customers. We believe that a truly great coffee should be blended to highlight its inherent quality without imparting its originality.
Senso provides you 100% Arabica coffee beans of premium quality and we also provide you a fine blend of Arabica with Robusta.
Arabica beans tend to have a sweeter, softer taste, with tons of sugar, fruit and berries. Their acidity is higher with that winey taste characterizes coffee with excellent acidity.
Robusta however has a stronger taste with a grain like overtone and peanutty aftertaste. They contain twice as much caffeine as Arabica beans.
We use blend of Robusta with Arabica specially for expressos for their deep flavor and good crema. Our perfect blending will give your cup of coffee a fine creama that lasts up to two minutes I the cup after brewing and your expresso features a more velvety mouth feel.
Think of Arabica… think of a supreme blend… think of senso.
To make your coffee right
Roasting style determines flavor.
- Lighter roasts: higher acidity, more caffeine, lighter body.
- Darker roasts: lower acidity, carbony, reduced caffeine, more bitter and fuller body.
Grinder makes or breaks the brew, always choose the best.
Freshness is key to good tasting coffee. Always buy fresh whole beans.
Grind before brew: not way ahead.
Brew ratio: how much coffee to water=how intense or watery, add more coffee for strong flavor.
Brew the coffee with off-the-boil water temperature between 88 to 95 degree Celsius.
Use fresh filtered water free of chlorine.
Store coffee beans in an airtight container in a cool dark place but never in a refrigerator.
